"Betrayed" doesn't attempt to do anything to spare the sensitives of the more easily offended members of the audience. The subject matter here is white supremacy and it is an unsettling insight into the men, women and, most alarmingly of all, children who inhabit this dark, sinister, and dangerously corrosive world. It doesn't shy away when tackling this whole unseemly subject and the often offensive and derogatory racist language will no doubt continue to retain the power to shock and anger audiences many years from now - as indeed will this whole film.
