7/10 stars review ratings from me; great action and show chasing Silat Melayu in particular. Out of the norm for Malay film .. if not love story its going to be horror movie. So yeah this is the answer. Geran is a diamond in the rough. If you are watching it purely for a deep, complex screenplay, you might find the first half frustratingly sluggish.
