Set within a household living on the outskirts of Rome, this movie explores the complexities of family life, complicated by the arrival of an attractive au pair. Despite a laboured narrative, the performance of the leading actresses is compelling, especially due to the development of their characters. Whilst the plot's reliance on coincidence may be criticised, the movie offers a melancholic view of the challenges of modern life and a search for a connection.
