This is definitely an interesting movie that plays with drama, empathy, and horror. The story plays out well as it makes the backstory of Mina, the undead girl, the main thread that goes through what happens in the present with the boy she encounter, named Alex. There are some decent effects in this movie and the setting definitely give you that feeling of darkness between both characters. It doesn't get slow paced all that much or even losing of interest.
