This has three main plotlines that drive the movie, the first is a young guy who comes to town to search for a friend he hasn't seen in ten years. The second is that this guy is hired as a janitor at a local gay/drag club and starts to get involved with some of the worker's lives. The third is that the club is failing and if they don't win a macho dance contest the club will close. Looking at these the parts, the main one where he gets involved in their lives ends on a hopeful and a bit happy note.
