On a train, a novelist meets Tae-ju, a young woman who resembles the protagonist of her novel in progress. Tae-ju runs away from damaging rumors to a seaside town. Unsure of what to believe, Tae-ju visits a fortune-teller mentioned as being remarkably accurate.
