A beautiful scenery in rural California is the stage for a contemporary "frontier" movie. The local thug wants to take control of the land of a stubborn and proud cowboy whose family has been in the area for ages. His refusal to sell the land starts a escalating war where both sides want to make each other's hell. The movie could be great in theory, but the acting is weak to the point you don't even feel anything when the major plot twists are revealed. Overall a forgettable movie tho you will likely be able to withstand the running time without being too bored
