In her past life, Xia Xingmian had been under Xie Jinchen's control. Locked up and miserable, she escaped him to live with her family, only to be murdered by them for her inheritance. Reborn with memories of both lives, Xia Xingmian vows to be good to Xie Jinchen and to take revenge on her murderers.
