This is one that gave me mixed feelings. I won't give spoilers, but I will say that this is not a gay story. I've read some reviews, and some people are projecting what they want it to be, but it's not what I thought it was going to be. Basically, when one guy saves the other's life from a burning building they become friends. Over time they become best friends and decide to become roommates. One of them is gay and probably does have feelings for the other. The roommate's orientation is never revealed. They also have a third roommate as well.
