When I see something with a rating this high, I think that it must be one of the most groundbreaking and innovative shows in decades. That it must be something that's going to change the game and influence generations of television and film. I think of The Sopranos or something similar. But this is literally nothing more than a formulaic, made for television police procedural. Apparently, David Tennant being in something makes it a "stunning masterpiece".
