Marco Mendonça

Marco Mendonça is an actor, writer and director based in Lisbon, Portugal. TRAINING: Mendonça completed his acting degree in 2015 at the Lisbon Film and Theater School. THEATRE: Catarina and the Beauty of Killing Fascists (National Theatre, UK and international tours from Festival d’Avignon); his first solo show – Blackface (as director and performer); Reparations Baby! (for Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, as writer and director); and multiple projects with Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, Mala Voadora, Gary Hill, Tonan Quito, Kassys, Artistas Unidos, Má-Criação, and Formiga Atómica. FILM/TV: numerous projects directed by Tiago Guedes, Filipa Amaro, Pedro Cabeleira, António Pinhão Botelho, Ivo M. Ferreira, Sebastião Salgado, João Maia, and Mário Patrocínio.
