Unfrosted, directed by Jerry Seinfeld, is a mock biopic about the creation of the Pop-Tart that ultimately falls short. While there are quite a few laughs and plenty of absurdity, these elements aren’t enough to save the film from its shortcomings. The film is notably short on story, with a narrative that feels thin and underdeveloped. The comedy, while occasionally effective, often feels too forced and over-the-top.
