After the Raid raises an important issue about immigration and deportation, but its execution lacks depth and clarity. The focus shifts heavily toward religious sympathy rather than exploring the broader socio-political impact. With minimal insight into the actual raid or immigration laws, the film leaves its core message vague and one-sided. Stronger context, multiple perspectives, and factual depth would have strengthened its impact. Ultimately, it feels more emotional than informative.
