First of all, I just went to watch this because I've seen the other two, which I kind of enjoyed, but I didn't have much expectation when I went to see this. And I was still disappointed. I felt like the plot was very weak and I was confused about what they were doing most of the time. There was plenty of singing and dancing, obviously, which was good for the most part. But it wasn't as good as the other films. Probably my biggest complaint would be about Fat Amy and her dad. There are riff-offs, yes, but also action sequences, animal attacks, explosions, and more, all wrapped in a heartfelt story of friendship and a loving send-off of these lovable misfits. The P…

After Pitch Perfect 1, it's like the creatives behind the campy classic lost themselves in the idea of grandiosity, like what would make the PP franchise better would be bigger, epic acts that nothing have to do with the true nature of what made the first one so lovable and endearing: its simplicity. Pitch Perfect started with its two feet on the ground and didn't take itself too seriously, yet had a cohesive storyline with an incredible line up of actresses that nurtured seomwhat relatable characters with plausible quirks and dynamics, and a friend group that would ultimately translate into t…
