I never really liked the accident-prone comedy style of the “Magoo” cartoons, but here his short-sightedness is quite enjoyable to watch as he is invited by a neighbouring couple - who clearly need their own eyes testing, too - to babysit! He accepts their offer and turns up unable to distinguish between their child and their dog! Whilst he is trying to organise a bath, an opportunist burglar sees a chance to raid the house.
