“Barney” ought to have known better than to have opened his door during his hibernating season, for when he does he finds he has been invited to his military medical. The only thing is, the telegram is disguised as something altogether friendlier and so off he sets replete with fishing rod and tennis racquets. No sooner does her arrive than he is introduced to some of the weaponry of war before being prodded and poked, weighed, measured and finally - despite his paunch and flat feet, it seems that they might want him after all!
