Overview
It’s a classic David vs. Goliath scenario: in the oil and gas strongholds of Louisiana's River Parishes and Appalachia's Rust Belt, where false economic promises and industrial pollution have become the norm, fed-up residents square off against their politicians and big business, proving to be a formidable foe. Thrust into the role of accidental activists, the group exposes how racism, classism, and corruption fuel the systems around them, and channel their collective power to show that ordinary people can fight back – and that giants do fall.
