This is a wonderful little film if you want to see some quite decent (stock footage) action scenes featuring the old cars that high speed racers used in the 1920s and 1930s. Otherwise, though, it's a rather forgettable drama about a driver who loses his nerve after an accident kills his mechanic. He quits and takes to cab driving in an effort to support him and Jackie Searl, who is quite good as the young, disabled, son the accident victim.
