Overview

Stray Embers is a powerful, moving film and just an incredibly well made doc - the edit/pace felt perfect, I was really impressed with the cinematography, and the overall story/intimacy with the main participants was captivating throughout. I saw it at RiverRun Film Festival (April '26), and the post-film Q&A with the directors was wonderful and illuminating. The film is both tender and funny, challenging and sweet, intimate and far reaching - all at once - with themes that will resonate with anyone. Go and see it!
