If you're British (or Japanese) you might remember Clive James used to showcase a television series called "Endurance" where folks underwent ostensibly painful stunts for the amusement of the audience. That was funny when I was a teenager and it was the 1980s. Now, almost fifty years later, this sort of frankly quite puerile humour just doesn't work for me as a collection of enthusiastic fifty-something's try to flog this very dead horse. I mean, it is Jackass. It is what it says on the tin. It's not going to be more, it's not going to be less. This is a good send off, and I completely understand why they're calling it quits. Age will do that to everyone. As far as being a Jackass movie goes, this does jackass, and it does so convincingly enough so that it can join the franchise proudly. If you are a fan I highly recommend it.
