"A Father's Revenge" is very reminiscent of the 1976 all-star television production "Victory at Entebbe" and not just because both films have obviously been stymied by the restrictions of a desperately limited budget. They both handle the subject matter in a highly responsible manner instead of following the more well worn and crowd pleasing route of making an all out action movie. What they have managed to produce instead is an involving and convincing film by not doing this that can sometimes take you by surprise with its depiction of extreme human behaviour.
