This movie would not have been possible without the two Steves in the main roles. They play off each other wonderfully, and Steve Carell does his usual thing superbly. The plot is ludicrous on its face and that's perfectly fine. The characters are over the top and quite wonderful. I didn't particularly like Jim's character in this, but I guess it's a throwback to an era where stage magicians were more of shock jockeys than they were artists. Overall, I found it very amusing and I'm happy I saw it.
