John Leguizamo

John Alberto Leguizamo Peláez (nacido el 22 de julio de 1960) es un comediante, actor y productor de cine colombo-estadounidense. Ha aparecido en más de 100 películas, producido más de 20 películas y documentales, realizado más de 30 apariciones en televisión y producido diversos proyectos televisivos. También ha escrito y actuado en Broadway, recibiendo cuatro nominaciones al Premio Tony por Freak en 1998, Sexaholix en 2002 y Latin History por Moronsin en 2018. Recibió un Premio Tony Especial en 2018. Leguizamo comenzó su carrera como comediante en Nueva York. Tras varios años interpretando papeles secundarios en cine y televisión, saltó a la fama con papeles importantes en la aventura fantástica Super Mario Bros., interpretando a Luigi Mario, y en el drama criminal Carlito's Way, interpretando a Benny Blanco (ambas de 1993), seguido de un papel como la drag queen Chi-Chi Rodríguez en la comedia de carretera To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1995), por la que recibió una nominación al Globo de Oro al Mejor Actor de Reparto.
