Jeffrey Edward Epstein (20 de enero de 1953 – 10 de agosto de 2019) fue un financista estadounidense, traficante de personas, delincuente sexual infantil y violador en serie. Comenzó su carrera profesional como profesor (sin tener un título universitario) en la Escuela Dalton. Tras su despido de la institución en 1976, ingresó al sector bancario y financiero, desempeñando diversos cargos en Bear Stearns antes de fundar su propia firma. Epstein cultivó un círculo social de élite y reclutó al menos a 1,000 niñas y mujeres menores de edad, quienes fueron sometidas a violaciones repetidas y violencia sexual, tanto por él como por sus asociados.
