Billie Paul Piper (22 de septiembre de 1982) es una cantante, bailarina y actriz británica. Debutó en Scratchy & Co. (1995-1998) y a la edad de 15 años firmó un contrato discográfico y lanzó su primer single «Because We Want To», que entró en el top del UK Singles Chart y la convirtió en la artista más joven en entrar en el número uno de la tabla. El sencillo fue seguido por el álbum Honey to the B (1998), que fue certificado doble platino por la Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ) y platino por la British Phonographic Industry (BPI). En 2000, lanzó su segundo álbum, Walk of Life. En 2003, se retiró de la industria discográfica e inició una carrera como actriz. La transición de Piper a la actuación comenzó en 2004. Ella interpretó a Rose Tyler, compañera de El Doctor de 2005 a 2006, en la serie de ciencia ficción de la BBC Doctor Who, retomando el papel en 2008, 2010 y 2013. Desde 2007 hasta 2011, protagonizó la acompañante de lujo Belle de Jour en la serie de televisión Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
