Sinopsis
Al coger el mismo tren todas las mañanas, Marilyn y el periodista Peter Dawes han entablado una buena y larga amistad. Cuando la chica decide dar calabazas a un acaudalado caballero británico, Peter lo convierte en noticia, poniendo de relieve la integridad moral de su amiga que no se ha dejado seducir por la fortuna del pretendiente. Así, Marilyn se convierte en una celebridad que, desde entonces, eso conocida como "La chica del No". En cualquier caso, llega un momento en que tendrá que decidir a quién ama realmente.
