The Night House" directed by David Bruckner, falls short in delivering a compelling story despite the strong performance of lead actress, Rebecca Hall. The plot is hard to follow and the supporting cast fails to impress. The film can be divided into two halves, where the first half presents a typical haunted house story, and the second half takes a darker, more twisted and psychological turn, but ultimately becomes too unclear and convoluted.
