Johannes Roberts' 47 Meters Down: Uncaged is the sequel to his 2017 film, which received mixed reviews. The sequel takes place in an unexplored and submerged Mayan city where four young girls, Mia, Sasha, Alexa, and Nicole, find themselves in a dangerous situation with hungry sharks. Unlike the first movie, this sequel has nothing to do with the first one, and it would have been better if it were not related to the first one in any way.
