El objetivo final: la independencia
Sinopsis
Adéntrate en la historia de los futbolistas argelinos que cambiaron los campos europeos por la lucha por la independencia. En 1958, en plena Guerra de la Independencia, talentosos jugadores abandonaron clandestinamente sus clubes para formar el equipo del FLN, símbolo viviente de la lucha del pueblo argelino. Este equipo clandestino, prohibido por la FIFA, sirvió de portavoz del gobierno provisional argelino hasta 1962. El futbolista Rachid Mekhloufi explicó: «La partida de los mejores jugadores argelinos que militan en Francia no fue casualidad. Con el control de los medios, pocos franceses sabían lo que ocurría en Argelia. Los representantes del FLN en Francia se adelantaron a su tiempo en cuanto a publicidad. Se adelantaron de verdad, porque una acción como esta permitió que el pueblo francés y el resto del mundo abrieran los ojos».
