Sinopsis
Para comprender las dificultades de ascender a más de ocho mil metros, basta recordar las casi 300 víctimas que estos picos se han cobrado. El alpinista suizo Ehrart Loretan, el tercer alpinista del mundo en haber escalado los 14 ochomiles, y el alpinista austriaco Kurt Diemgerger recorren toda la historia de la conquista de los ochomiles del mundo, desde la década de 1950 hasta la actualidad, junto con otros alpinistas y directores de cine que los han escalado. Hablan de sus experiencias al aventurarse en la zona de la muerte.
