Way back in 1956 a groundbreaking film called "Invasion of the body snatchers" offered up scares based on the notion of something familiar but at the same time alien and menacing. "Curon" whilst not tapping into the alien concept walks a similar path. Nearest and dearest replaced by unfamiliar others who are literally, our own, alter egos. Its competently presented, if a little heavy handed, at times. The characters often feel a little overstated, unsubtle.
