Atlas would have worked a lot better had it not been used as a vehicle for thinly veiled social engineering. Woke nonsense, AI fear mongering and climate agenda's in the form of depopulation, are front and centre, to the point where you simply can't ignore its infuriatingly tiresome, finger wagging. A drippy robot named Zoe, that whinges about its pronouns, climate change alarmism with AI that wants to "reset" humanity (heard that before?). Better than expected! I saw one or two still images from <em>'Atlas'</em> in the lead up to watching it and I wasn't getting good vibes. Happily, I actually really enjoyed this 2024 movie - another reason to not judge a book by its cover and all that. Of course, it is nothing near perfection and has a couple of issues, e.g. a slightly overlong run time and an underwhelming villain, though overall I liked this. I do tend to enjoy seeing Jennifer Lopez, looking at the films I've viewed her in (nine titles with this one) she hasn't let me down yet; this is another showing worth watching, in…
