I actually enjoyed this movie, surprisingly. Watched them in the wrong order didn't know it was a sequel. So watched this one first then the first one and enjoyed them both.

Technically proficient, but soulless This movie did not have to be made, and while it makes narrative sense that the character would behave this way the rest of the movie is bordering on incoherent and contrived. This is like a bad RPG plot. The characters are unlikable, and you don't invest in them, which robs this of tension. The ending is weak as well. This is a pretty movie, it is well made and well shot, but it is not a fun watch at all.
