It's got shades of the "Quatermass Xperiment" (1955) to it, this, as we discover that heartthrob astronaut "Patrick" (Justin Lazard) - who just happens to be the son of an hard-nosed US senator (James Cromwell) - returns to Earth after a mission. Now unlike with the first of these not-so-classic sci-fi films, this time it's the man who needs to breed and boy does he have a go.
